I guess I'll go with what you all are saying. I'm just estimating whp. That's no more than 10 i believe. But, whatever. I'm going to weld the rear section b/c it's rattles like a bi**h. I've had a braket welded on one side, the bolts impacted and I relplaced the rubber hanger to see if a stiff one would help. Very little. I'm just going to weld the rear stiff. The engine dampener keeps the engine from moving at all so it won't do anything. I just can't drive with that noise. I can't even launch b/c it sounds like ____. I feather the gas. No more than 3/4 pressure to the pedal or it's gonna rattle.

i havent talked to nik in awhile... but give it some time for the exhaust to ship out. they may be back ordered... for awhile it was taking people a little longer to get the exhaust cause they were back ordered. but emailing draxas is the best way to contact them currently

That's the same sound I am getting now. I had a new rear section shipped to me, but it didn't fix the tin rattling noise.

I have the same problem. Other people on here have told me that it is the mid-section rattling against the heat shield. I placed my hand under the car in that area and you can't even get a finger in between the mid pipe and heat shield so that is probably the problem. I haven't tried it yet but most people say to take off the mid section and bend the heat shield with a rubber mallet.

Guess I'll be taking the exhaust off for the 4th time and trying this. Damn.

I was just now thinking about that b/c when I put the mid pipe on, I took the heat shielf off and put heat resistant dynomat foam behind it and made sure to push/bend it up towards the body of the car with the foam between it. The pipe was never close to the heat shielf for me. I took the heat shield over the muffler off completely so that's not it. I also packed the shield around the gas tank too. I just think it's the design.

Hollowed out can with a perforated tube with no packing. If it was packed it would sound much deeper and better IMO.

Has anyone tried replacing the cat? Also, i think the resonator is too small. Everyone on here who eliminated rasp with a header used a 30" resonator. The draxas one is not that big. We need to get to the bottom of this since draxas has left us in the dust. Are there people on here who have the rattling problem without a header?
