I recently drained the Freon on my 05 tC and was trying to put new Freon in it. Since there was no pressure to turn on the compressor clutch I tried taking out the relay and jumping the connector so that the compressor clutch would turn on and allow the Freon to enter the system. It worked for a minute but when I pulled the jumper out and tried it again, it wouldn’t energize the clutch and now I’m not getting any voltage from the relay connector. I couldn’t find a fuse that might have blown when I was using the jumper.
Here’s a picture of the jumper in the relay connector. Please let me know if you might know any about this. Any thoughts? Thanks!
You need to use a vacuum to pressurize the system. I wouldn't attempt this if you don't have the correct tools as the AC system is pretty fragile when serviced incorrectly. R134a is not that expensive to have properly serviced at a local shop (should be $100 or so).

Thanks! Do you think that is the reason why there is no power all of the sudden at the relay terminal? I was able to use a wire to jumper it which would engage the compressor clutch but that’s not working now. I thought maybe there is another fuse that keeps the relay from frying or something.
