I put a MAF adapter on a few days ago and now I'm throughin a 171 codes which is too lean. Anyone know what I can do?

it may be a dumb question but did you get the one for the right year for your car? Just covering bases

make sure there are no leaks around your MAF. the only air even touching the sensor should be air in the intake pipe.

If those of you have a 09 Scion tC and decide to get a Cold Air Intake and getting hesitation on revs and starting car as well. Be sure to change to the proper pipe fitting for your 09 and also the 09 Mass Air Flow Adapter
for tube needs one from Toyota Scion or for the 09 Scion tC, cause I figured today out the hard way trying to figure all the crap out but check Purge Valves and change to better and bigger Fuel Injectors.

People never understand this and skip the process.
