aren't our cars redline limited to around 137? this is a random comment, but i swear we should have had a 6speed manual... the gearing is so perfect for it. haha anyway..

the speed limiter is at 127

yo we are talking about a rev limiter so we dont damage our engines past redline

not trying to get rid of that unless youre looking for a new engine

Peak rpm is based 99% on piston velocity. If you havent de-stroked the engine then you are still putting too much strain by running above stock redline. Reducing the mass of the pistons and rods can help some, but I would not increase redline by any real amount without destroking it.

Ans as far as going WAY above 130 as stated above... about 135 or so is all you will get. Gearing will limit you at that point

And people also miss the fact that wind resistance grows exponentially with speed, making hp the top defining element in top speed. I dont see the tC going a lot faster than 135 without more power.
