This is just my opinion, no insult intended to you or your car, but honestly, I think it sounds like crap. Like people said, it could have just been the background noise, or your mic from the camera, but it has no ***** what-so-ever. If you paid more than $30 for that muffler + install, I say you were robbed. But you did mention that you don't have a whole lot of money to throw around. In that case, then I would have recommended you not give way to temptation of getting something new for your car, and save towards something not mediocre in performance/sound. Good things come to those that wait (or can afford it).

You know, I never understood why anyone would waist their money on an aftermarket exhaust system/muffler that looks exactly like the one they just took off. Wouldn't it be more cost effective to just modify the original exhaust piping/muffler if you wanted to keep the same look? I don't get it.

And exactly what are you going to do with the OBX muffler? Try to resale it on ebay.

When did he say anything about wanting to keep the stock look or not? I know that I personally would rather have a black painted muffler under the car to give it a clean look as opposed to some bright flashy part that only draws attention to it. I know its your opinion and you are entitled to it, but I just dont understand where you are coming from when bringing this up. In the end, an exhaust shoud be about sound and performance first and then looks should follow.

The point is, if it's going to stay looking like the OEM exhaust system, it would be more cost effective to just modify the OEM exhaust system instead of buying another one that looks like it, but gives different performance. Wouldn't you agree to that statement?
