mines "crackles", i call it blopping, all the time.....i love it lol. and usually if i downshift into second at like 40 i can get a little pop followed by alot of blops. Even my TRD made blops back in the day.

Whats DFCO?

I don't think you get the point of this. What you are trying to do is dumb, useless, and ricey. If you want your car to crack and pop, get an exhaust and leave it in gear. I'm guessing you have an auto?

Get a turbo kit, 3in tbe and you will hear all the pops in the world
while your NA trying to do this is just plain ricey
What your trying to do will most likely do more harm then good.

yeah thats generally all we do . But really OP, the best way to get a good crackle is a straight exhaust with a cherrybomb placed where one of the stock resonators would be, just to hold some heat in it. But as far as your hopes of "giving it gas in neutral and flipping the switch" go, youre not going to get the classic "two-step" sound, the engine will just rev down with maybe a pop or two. youd need a controller to cut the spark 2 or 3 cyl at a time so that the engine can maintain its rpm, otherwise in essence itll just be like you shut off the engine. either way major post-ignition is not healthy, and can lead to bent or burnt exhaust valves or exhaust stem seals. Its not a fun repair job.

i already got a 2.5" straight midpipe with a 25" cherrybomb as a resonator with no muffler for now and it gets a nice pop everynow and then but its not the same.......

my buddy has a switch done on his cl-s and gets nice fireballs and pops, so does my other buddy in a 240, and ive also seen many cars do it just by turning the key on and off after revving

I guess I can just wait till i get my turbo

Theres no need for a "switch" to make a pop or a fireball. Hell Fireballs arent even good on a motor. Pops are nothing to brag about. I really see no point in this except to be a rice mod. Honestly. There is no other way to describe it.
