Make you measure it right and don't over torque it over the install sheet spec as well.
Hey coopermine18 can you please log onto AIM or answer a question for me on here?

I got the dynamat Xtreme but ive never experienced any dampening products.
This is weird to me, it has the top metallic sheet, in the middle its like a sticky black (something?), and at the bottom of this is the brown paper.

Now my question is, which one do i lift or use ? (im confused)

does it come set soft from the factory, and im asuming stiffening it would just be turning it to the driver side?

Yeah it is going to come preset at 14mm then you will need to adjust it.

Like mentioned earlier on my NA tC 11mm does the trick for me - Turbo def on the 10mm.

I noticed yesterday they were on sale at dezod.com $160 *edit* -oops ;)

I noticed yesterday they were on sale at dezod.com $166 with FREE shipping (my favorite kind) I didn't see anyone mention that ...
i got it from CorSport for $150 shipped ! Heres the link https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=96381

BTW i got mines installed today, it didnt make a HUGE world difference but i can definetly notice less wheel hop and more precise shifting. I would definetly recommend this product. I noticed a slight cabin rattle, but when i drove off after like 30seconds it dissapeared, and of course i installed it with 2 dynamat layers.

If you or anyone else would like any 'technical' help/q's with the product - Rob over at Ingalls informed me he is the tech head there that can answer questions about the product as well. Rob is NOT there to sell it; he's there to help you get the most out of their product. He has been of great assistance to me. You can pick his brain at robs@ingallseng.com

Im sure someone has noticed this, but im lazy and dont want to go thru all the replies. i let off the clutch today forgetting i was in first gear. my car surged but never died. On the stiffest setting this thing will not stall ur car with it in gear and not pressing the clutch pedal. also did it in reverse, even going uphill. gotta love that lol

my friend was the one that did the installation for me, we didnt have anything to messure it, so by following the instructions i believe it said something as you move it inward the more the stiffness.. and i think thats what we did LOL...

Ummm- Well go get a ruler and measure the distance from the outside edge of each adjustment nut on the stiffy, a picture isn't gonna help this!

It only works right if you use it right!
