logging timing??
im going to start logging the timing adjustments on my tc becosue i was noticing last night that it was advancing the timing up to 30 degrees at 5% throttle and 1500 rpms
this doesnt seem right to me does any one else get numbers like that when they are monitoring there car??
as far as i remember it used to be no where near that with less mods but im to lazy to yank off mods so let me know what you guys get lol

the one on the top of the page i usealy use it for just reseting check engin lights and i was going to get back on the trouble shooting the CEL with the safc issue but couldnt get it to throw the light last night so i started monitering the timing and noticed the ecu was advancing it alot

would someone be so kind as to give us a rough graph of the stock timing curve, showing throttle angle, rpms, speed, timing degree?

By replacing the cat in the header and mid-pipe and increasing flow, the engine runs more efficiently and will advance timing. I have read that the TC has a knock sensor so it shouldn't be a problem. I always run 89 octane for just a bit of safety.
