I still think the ticking of the valves was always there you are just more aware of it now since you feel something could be wrong.
Maybe you should get a Leak Down test.

sorry to bring this back up.. but i think mine has the same problem..

i did overrevv one night by missing 4th exactly how you did it but it was a long time ago.. i just noticed now that it started ticking louder.. but maybe it is just me.

is your car ok? everything running fine still?

holy crap, RAY!!! I did the same thing last about a week and a half ago.. =[

I'm getting it checked out when i have time next week. Been busy ever since..

If it idles fine then the valves should be ok. You might have damaged a rod or spun a bearing. Just because you have a spun bearing doesn't mean you can't drive the car. Don't take what I am saying the wrong way if something is wrong then fix or get it fixed, My friend spun a bearing on his firebird and drove like that for weeks. I would definately take it to the dealer see what they say to you.

the ticking sounds like valves.
id agree with what everyone else said and not drive it and have it towed.
i had hydrolocked an engine and got it covered...that is after putting all my stock parts back on ha
