Default bracket broke again =(

Gabe!! It's Steve.. I just sent you another email about the bracket breaking off while I was driving T_T. this is the second one that has happened and it seems to happen every couple of months. I even took your advice to make sure I didn't overtighten the two bolts where it gets attached. =(

I found this to be a problem when you just tighten the bolts with out the springs. Please everyone, use your OEM springs when installing your Precisionmuffler.com axle back. We include washers and extra long bolts for the springs. Here is the image of the installed bolts with washers.

Did anyone get a black plastic thing that basically looks like a handle for something? I have no idea what this is for.

Gabe, I sent you an email about my shipment which apparently has some missing pieces (email is from me, Lester). Please email me back as soon as you can or PM me here. Thanks.

this exhaust is very nice and clean! Nothing too crazy and a nice deep tone when you step on it. I love it and think im sticking with it!

This is one exhaust i have been looking at, but cant decide on which one to go with. Great write up by all.. I really would love the dual, but the price is a bit up there. If it was stainless then now we are talking... ARG!

Got your email, I have idea what that handle thing is. It must have dropped in the box after we got everything ready to ship out for you. We got new boxes for our exhaust system too, thank you Uline for finally taking our requests for the right size!! If you guys need boxes for anything go with www.uline.com !!

I was looking around for a while on an exhaust. I read a lot about them and read what people had to say. The Precision Muffler seems like the best one out right now. Well, I guess for what I'm looking for. Something deep and not too loud.

Just ordered mine on Friday. Can't wait to get it and install it. It's about 20 degrees out now but I know I'll be hard headed and install it in the middle of winter. Can't wait for the spring. It's too far away.

I still haven't gotten my confirmation on my order but hopefully I'll be getting it soon.

Wanted to do a baseline Dyno before I start adding on aftermarket parts.

^^You won't be sorry! Nice, 'beefy' sound without being obnoxiously loud. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!

I just put my PM axleback on this past Saturday. Sounds great, but it's actually a little louder than I expected, or maybe I just need to get used to it. I'm going to leave it on for a little while to see how i feel about it after a few weeks of normal commuting, but my stock exhaust is standing by in case I decide to go back to the quieter ride.

But if you're looking for an axleback with a sweet, low grumbling tone, then this one is great.

Is it possible the the axleback has improved my gas mileage a little bit?

I track my MPG on every fillup - I had been getting a steady 28-29 MPG before putting the axleback on, but I've filled up twice since slapping it on and have recorded 30+ mpg each time (360 miles on 11.65 gallons on last tank). Moneywise, it's insignificant, but any increase is nice nonetheless.

Anyone else experience the same??
