actually to tell you the truth, that is my friend Phil that's in the video, of whom i mentioned earlier. it sounds different in person (not by much though and i'll say that resonator gave quite some impovement from before when he didn't have it). his car is decently fast with it (esp. slow in the 1/4 like i mentioned earlier... he lost low end with the full setup)
otherwise.. he does have power in the high end (i'll give you that..) and his car has changed abit since that video.

That's why I was concerned with a full setup... didn't want to lose more low end with a catback setup... too much for my car right now... FI or turbo would be nice with it low.
Got mine installed last night. Oh man, the difference in tone is great. Doesn't sound ricey or raspy at all. I'd take pictures of it, but with 4 pages already in this thread, it's nothing you haven't seen before. =P
dont ____ off a mod. come on im really not to scared. and i shouldnt own a scion or be apart of this community cause of my attitude? if i dont like something i have every right to say so. if i see something where quality lacks, i will say so. its calle freedom of speech, ever heard of it? and i was spoken down upon cause i didnt like the freakin pipe and i said something about and because i have one post? what kind of emo gets ____ed off at that? if you cant take critisim then dont put yourself out to be critisized. and isnt the whole scion community BASED on freedom of things? to express yourself not matter what others think? that seems to be the point i get when i read my scion mag. every month. just remember guy, scion life IS NOT the whole scion community, or even close to being so
Mister Scion_Shift,
In your case, sir... post count does mater!
Obviously, you sir, have no idea of the nature and personalities of the people
that you speak of
Having never met you, I do not mean that you don't know what your doing...
simply, please don't ____ in someone elses Cheerios
AND... a review of parts that you have used is fine. Butt, in your words
"don't judge" others, their work. workmanship, or ideas on tuning or otherwise
Clearly.... you have no concept of the Scion community.
I'm not suprised you used to own a Honduh, and less than one...

this thread went WAY off topic, cause of one mans opinion and retaliation. i really dont care what someone does to their car. i just dont want the TC to be given a name the integra (honda) now have cause of CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS but it seems its well on its way already and theres nothing i can do about it. dont mean to offend onyone, but when my mechanical knowledge is based on a "post count" that is when it gets redicilous. sorry for ____ing on anyones cheerios.

no one can make a scion into a honda. Only the onwer can do that to their own car. But as far as our system; You don't think that I could have made a system that was mandral bent and welded completly out of titanium just to make the HP guys happy. Thats all fine and dandy, but you have to remember that the Scion market is not full of billionares. Our exhaust system is priced and made for the tC owner that is looking for a good deal. I am not here to make a high priced exhaust system. I am here to help out the little guy, which you know nothing of. My systems are still designed to have HP and still keep the exhaust system quiet with a header installed. If you want to make a system that is mandral bent and welded by a machine. Go right ahead and let me know how the price is compared to us. Your opinion has been noted. Here is mine: If you haven't work with Scions before, you can't compare it with anything else.
Have a nice day. :D

I got mine installed Tuesday and love it immensely!
I would take pix, but the weather has been rainy here and I had to work. I think the tone is just great for anybody not looking for anything too loud and little to no rasp. I also saved A LOT of $$$ by going with this axle-back!
(enough $rill to install my TRD Lowering Springs also!) I am very happy with Stylis' work and highly recommend his axle-back to everybody!
a.k.a. The "Frugal Modder".

ok, so IF i were to order the cat back, can i get it w/o a resinator? do you make test pipes to replace the cat? just some questions i have. and like i said, i apologize to SL and performance muffler for my childish post (this is coming from me, not forced by a mod or anything) you guys probably can make a exhaust better than me. i just install them

How it looks from the side.

It sure is shiny & purdy.

Oval tip fills cut-out in bumper perfectly!

Gabe installed the PM Axleback two weeks ago (or so)
Sounds really nice. Deep resonant tone, not too loud. Can barely hear it below 4000rpm
Feels like the car has a tiny bit more pull but anything that helps my baby breath better is good.
A $750 muffler with mandrel-bent piping? oooooohhhh ( I have no idea what any of that is but I'll bet it's real expensive)
Is the muffler inlaid with GOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLDDDDDDDD???????

Cost / benefit ratio. Is the extra $500 a good value for the extra .5, 1, 2, or 3 hp? I dunno about you but not really to me.

ohh god Hyghgynx i hope mine will look as clean as urs.. mine sticks out so much.. i hope when i try to realign it, it will look better. I think even if i fix the mount it seems like the main pipe is still pushing my exhaust back. Could my header be a cause of it pushing back?
OK can someone answer this question for me. Stylis and hipxhopxjedi did but I still would like other people's opinions on this. Is this exhaust louder than the G35 exhaust? I really like that deep sound w/o overdoing it, but I'd like it a tad bit louder since I want people to actually know that I have an a/m exhaust. Any input would greatly be appreciated. THANKS!

i don't really know how loud the G35 exhaust is, but from hearing his current axleback, i can say it's too quiet for my taste. if you want, me and one other guy are having Gabe make us something louder and uhh.. it'll be similar to the HKS exhaust. we're thinking/planning on using this:
Wow HKS? That is a little too loud. But I'm still interested. Will this be a group buy thing b/c I'm definitely leaning towards a slightly louder PrecisionMuffler exhaust by what people are telling me.
Anybody else?
