does anyone know anything about the Megan short throw?
--Also, I have a dumb question so get ready. Do you have to install new bushings when swithcing over to a short throw?

Hihi! I am a fresh rookie with tC. Will be getting a used RS3.0 shipped to Toronto in a couple of weeks. I am looking at the quick shifter already as I see the stock stick is so long. So far TRD looks a go to me as TWM 2 looks too short. Is TRD really same height as stock?

toeveryhour, the white interior looks so great, did you paint it on your own? or you got it somewhere? it would definitely fit in a RS3.0!

I am just a kindergarten kid in moding~ hope I can learn more thru this tC!

yeah i went to an auto paint mixing store. they mixed it for me in a spray can. cost about $115 for it not including the clear coat and primer. BP is expensive paint.

so im planning to get a TWM stage 2 short shifter, like the height and seems like a good enough of a shifter reduction, question though is it necessary for me to get the cable bushings and base bushings or should i just get the short shifter itself and save like 40 dollars?

sorry about the noobness this is the first car i plan to get serious about modding and just want to make sure i dont damage it or regret getting certain parts

Hi jimmzTC05,

The cable and base bushings are a great upgrade for a more precise shifting and solid feeling on the shifter. They are the perfect complement for the Stage 2 short shifter.

you dont technically have to for either... it just makes life 10000x easier. I took the cage out to install my DocI shifter and trust me removing the cage isnt the hard part...

I love the shifter though, def one of my favorite mods
