THE Short Throw Shifter Thread
Edit:Yes.
Doesn't the TWM already come with base/cage bushings? I have a B&M and came with cage riser bushings, so now I have a set of Corsport cage bushings just laying around that I ordered at the same time. I have yet to install the cable bushings, also Corsport.

The short shifter will fix this for sure. If you want even crisper and precise shifts, you can go with the base bushings and cable bushings. The shift gates will be a lot more defined and easy to get into.
You can get them all here and save by buying them as a package:

And John isn't kidding. I spent some time this weekend swapping the Stage 1 short shifter, base and cable bushings. It was pretty easy to do and removed a lot of that slop. Combined with the Amsoil fluid used to refill the trans- It feels great. Really crisp, positive engagement.
I noticed after I replied. Sorry. I can't stand the E-Brake being up so high.. It takes away from cabin space..and Looks like ya have bad brakes.. Just adjust the cable at the base.. Too many clicks and ya might need a new cable, but too tight will lock your brakes.
@my06tc lol the 3inch isn't that bad.Yes it is way stiffer over oem but that's what happens with short shifters. I posted a vid in the Shortest Shortshifter thread in the owners lounge. Idk if the link works but it shows how easy it is to shift.
@ugman9401 yea the e brake is wayyyy up.lol I never leave it in gear and always rip my e-brake when parked.lol I might try adjusting it.idk.lol
