We never had a single issue with a Scion tC steel short shifter breaking over the years.

There are a lot of knockoffs companies with very bad replicas of our short shifters, they are not to be mistaken with the original product!

Our Scion tC short shifter has been one of our best selling products over the last few years and we have very good feedback on this product.

When you install a short shifter, you basically need to give yourself some time to get used to the new feel of the short shifter in relation to the clutch. If the clutch is correctly fully depressed, there will be no problem with the 1-2 shifts. We also suggest to upgrade to synthetic transmission oil the next time your car is due for a change, it will definitely improve the shift feeling as well.

Our short shift boot is made to accommodate the short shifter. It is shorter than the stock unit so it will provide a cleaner look after the short shifter installation, as well we use high quality leather for our shift boots for a better quality and look than the stock boot.

Also, if you are looking for a package with a shift ****, we have a great sale this month on a short shifter/shift **** combo, check it out:

^ This is the kind of feedback I'm talking about, our short shifter has been on the market for a lot of years and it's proven to be extremely reliable.

Thanks!

Just bought and installed the Stage 2....and I love it! It gives a totally different feel to shifting. It took a short time to adapt to it but now I feel it's pretty smooth...a little more notchy (sp?) but overall great. I have the bronzoil bushing waiting for install. Weather needs to get warmer!

Thanks for the feedback!

As for the shifter feeling a bit "notchier", you will get used to it, it's normal to have a more mechanical feel to the shifter after the short shifter installation.

I am certainly not complaining or concerned about it. The shifting is much more smooth than with the stock shifter. It's a great improvement and worth the money! Install was a pain but I survived!

i just installed my doc iso with a 1.5 drop with cage riser, the shift is amazing short however it does seem a bit hard to move around. just wondering if the hardness is going to go away? or am i just going to get use to it? wondering if i did something wrong

When did you get the shifter from doc? I've tried reaching him a couple of times but failed to do so...
