OK sure will... Did you get everything that is listed under his
'05-10 Scion tC GearSwitcher Premium

This includes a 50% throw reduction shifter, new crosspin washer, shifter cage riser bushings, longer bolts for the shifter cage, and solid delrin shifter cable bushings. The cage bushings are solid delrin, which greatly improves shifter feel, and raise the shifter cage 0.6", reducing shift effort.

I got all of those in the gearshifter extreme lite, which is exactly the same as the premium package but, with the whole cage. But yeah highly recommend the premium package

I'm really wondering if I want to put a short throw in my tC. I'm kind of debating whether I want to do the work or not. The car is a daily driver.

I did put a short throw in my Z06 and the difference is amazing. I'm just wondering if the difference in the tC will be as notable.

The answer is YES, as long as you swap the bushings under the hood as well.

Sounds like more work than I really want to get into. Guess I'll just keep the stock shifter on there.

You will notice a huge difference without replacing the bushings under the hood. But replacing them will make it feel much crisper.

So if you just want the short shifter and not the bushings, it is still a very big difference.

And replacing the bushings under the hood is cake, not hard at all. Easier if you remove the intake tubing, but I did mine without removing it.

It's a great modification for a daily driver. It will make the car much more enjoyable to drive on a daily basis and the install is easy on a tC.

CLT-tc, installing solid bushings will provide a different feeling to the shifter. It will be a lot more solid and precise because the solid bushings remove the play coming form the stock rubber bushings.

We sure do! Both the base bushing kit and the Cable bushing kit. The combo deal is $44.90! Here is a link to the page on our site where you can order them:

Both our Stage 1 and very popular Stage 2 Scion tC short shifters are in stock and ready to ship, as well as the tC base bushings, cable bushings, leather shift boots and shift *****!
