no worries. I'm waiting on carbeyond store to ship me the damn adapters for the shift **** i bought. Shipped out today so should get it Friday at the latest. The boot needs a little modification, but I'm going to see how I can do it with my new shift **** to test it. In the meantime I'm going to try and clean up the center console. (scratches, crumbs etc.)

Bought for $135 (before the$40 return you get upon returning the stock shifter).

I got the premium kit with the shifter cable bushings.

I have never done a shortshifter install, but I had my friend help out. It's pretty simple overall, just have a friend who's done it before to help you out.

I'm very happy with it. Shifts click into place and don't wobble about at all. Very happy with the mod.

There's no mushy slop. Shifter slots into gears with an affirmitive sound and feel. The rubber bushings are replaced with a hard polyurethane bushings. (Or something similar in construction).

A little bit. It has gotten easier to shift since when I first installed it. Perhaps I have gotten stronger?

I had dr.Isotope premium shifter with 2.5 height reduction for a few months already. I love this thing but i never got a chance to finish with cable bushings. Yesterday i was installing my sway bar and i noticed i can install cable bushing really easy without taking my intake out. So i used that moment and it took like 2 minutes. I noticed its easier to put car in reverse now and i jut like how it feels now. I was too exited for my sway bars yesterday but still dr.isotope shifter is my number 2 best mod so far worth every pennie!

So will the CC short shifter fit with the TRD cage? Or will I have to revert back to OEM first?

TWM Stage 2 with GReddy's weighted ****, which DEFINITELY helps. If you think shifting with your new short shift is difficult, screw a heavy hunk of metal on top. Just beware, if you get GReddy's, that it's prone to scratching/fading.
