You only have to re-oil the filter when it is time to clean/recharge it.

no don't oil the filter it already comes lightly oiled. i have a weapon r intake on the way and i can't wait to get it. it's good to see that Ray posts about any problems with the weapon r intakes. i emailed injen two weeks ago about my intake being a tight fit and they still have not gotten back to me.

i heard that the tq. and horsepower suffer in the lower rpms but from 3500 on you can see an increase in torque and hp... this sucks b/c i just installed my WR sri and am really nervous about the shavings they say you get inside the tube from the factory... i gotta go check this out tonight...

theres nothing wrong with your MAF sensor. its just reading air incorrectly.. reseting your ECU should solve the problem. if its still a problem, you might need to reinstall the intake.

the only time when your car sounds sluggish is if you shift to early and expect to go faster.

there was a time when i added a ram air kit to the weapon-r intake and all the sudden my car refuses to accelerate at full throttle. i kept trying to accelerate and all the sudden i heard a loud POP. so i just uninstalled it.
