Default Will a Stiffy touqe damper take away some of the backlash ?

Everyone on here is very knowledgable and I was wondering who would know if the stiffy touqe damper would take away some of the back lash in the trany? Or should I do the damper and the motor mount bushings too?
This car only has 3000 miles on it. It also has a AEM coldair, catback exhaust, 18" trd wheels and Ksport coilovers.
I did jack the car up and kept the trany in first gear to see how bad the motor rocked and it was pretty bad. Why did scion or toyota put such ____y motor mounts in if the cars drive line can't handle the touqe?
Any help or ideas would be great.
Thanks Jay

Forget the stiffy, just get the motor mounts.

Both would be a bit redundant but you can do it. If you were to go with one though, go with the Motor Mounts. Get the Energy Suspension ones from Dezod. Cheaper than a TD and more effective in reducing wheel hop.

I'm still waiting to get my mounts installed. It's going to cost me near $300 to get it all done. So in the end it's about $350 for it all. The TD would be cheaper, but it will only mask the problems and there are stories of them breaking at the first time on the track.

TD=band aid an dthey add unneeded weight, the enemy of true performance.

Mounts= only real alternative

Labor+ bus some tools and learn to work on your car, not really that tough once you get going.

yeah i should have mentioned it was a faulty unit and that all the ones my friends have held up just fine under similar situations. they do a decent job at what they are aimed at but they chatter to much imho.
im gonna be selling my brand new replacement ETD for cheap if anyone is interested lol
