ATTN: Need feedback from tCs with HydraEMS
Yes perfect Sergio. In fact maybe start at 13.0:1 at idle only and that should smooth things out and go higher. I believe I set the other Tc's to around 13.5 or maybe 14:1 at idle. Some highly modified RX-7's actually run 11.5-12:1 at idle. Crazy but that is the way they like it sometimes.

They don't teach that stuff in the tuning books/articles i've read so far >.<
Experience pwns.
I'll try that out then.
BTW I finally found a reliable mechanic in my area Dan. He cleaned up all the little problems a few weeks ago. Clocking the turbo, like you had recommended to me a long time ago. Which I didn't think could be done, because of the space. But he made it work, lol. Long story short it all worked out great.

Most of the books i've seen have theoretical mumbo jumbo, which hasn't really helped me idle the car right, lol.
BTW, how's jackies car coming along? Have you completed it?

I forgot to lean out the boosted area, on the map I just uploaded.
In boost the AFR is back to 9.0
It sounds kinda farty, lmao.
The last time I had it this rich in boost, it was shooting flames sporadically =p
I have a couple of eye witnesses who can vouch for it
Jackie's motor I haven't even started putting together. I have all the parts just been busy. Hopefully over the winter I can put it together and get it in the car in the Spring. Been working on my EVO X lately.
hey guys i need help wiring the air intake temp sensor, i tapped one wire to the blue wire on the maf sensor harness and the other i grounded to one bolt of the valve cover, i turned it on and it didnt work..

Just asking, because i've made a similar mistake on other occasions.
I have mine grounded to the cylinder head btw. Not sure if that makes a difference.
Once your in the hydra, whats the value it reads for the AIT??
im gonna try looking for another ground but yeah it reads 13F on a 100 weather, i didnt solder or crimp it completely coz im not sure if it works but it has some very good contact
Well not to change the subject. But i've been keeping in contact with Phil @ Element tuning. and i'm sending him a e-mail tomorrow with the Volt. readings that he needs so long story short i will have the harness by the end of next weekend at the latest. what harness you ask... for the 2step/ALS and i think WOT shifts to work properly with the hydra and tc.
here i found the maf wiring diagram, its the blue wire

In fact you can use the sensor ground also available in the MAF conector. It is one of the red wires (pin 5 on the MAF connector).

1-Yellow

You do know that the blue wire for the IAT requires you to cut the stock wire and tape up/not use the part of it going to the MAF; right
I mention that just in case!
