ATTN: Need feedback from tCs with HydraEMS
EVO has got IC piping, downpipe and test pipe and an FP Red turbo upgrade. I should have the new 4 inch thick IC soon and will get the exhaust fabbed up soon. Then throw the 1000cc injectors in and head to the dyno. Just got the software to tune it. I'll mess with it over the weekend. Jackie's car is losing fuel pressure. Trying to diagnose why. Very odd. May need to fab up a bracket to hold dual Walbros. and do a return setup.
I slightly remember there being an option that has to be checked in order for TPS fuel trim to work.
So it shouldn't be altering the Fuel at all since its not enabled.
I think I remember, mine being the same. I'll take a look at my map when I get home.

hey guys, i got my vacuum afrs not in the 14s, mostly 14.4-14.6, i felt the loose in power and the car hesitates like it couldnt take the load.. i got improvements doing spark advance, question is how safely can i advance?
My vacuum spark is 30-36 from 1250-3000 rpms, just wondering if you guys are like in the 40s especially those doing lean burn..
not good in hearing knocks and dont trust the knock sensor 100%, just looking for some inputs from you guys

Make sure your knock amplifier is on and date log keep a close eye on that, I looked at a few of my logs and my spark is between 38-41 i've evev seen acouple 47degrees with NO boost at 4900rpms just see how it feels and watch knock.
yeah im advancing 2-3 deg at a time, i guess i keep advancing until driveability is achieved... i usually daily drive 1500-3000 rpm though so i wouldnt know about 3500 rpm up.. i always keep eye on knock data
I richen it up to 13.5-14.0 above 3500rpm and advance is in the 40-45. No knock according to data log. Not even a 0.01 on the knock voltage. Car feels happy ^^ I find if it's at 14.5 and leaner the car feels kinda jerky and tiny tiny amount of knock with that advance and with some load. Hopefully when the new radiator goes in I can advance some more safely.

I can't remember exactly, but I think I'm around 700F degrees WOT @ 12lbs.
Yeah 700 cant be right unless you have your probe after the turbo in the spipe somewhere.
I'm about 1200-1400 wot at 10-11ish psi. I have my probe 2 inches from the head on cyl.4

Correct. Probe is in the downpipe.

^^you see post above?
When I get the PTuning manifold I will run the EGT in the manifold, as the downpipe will most likely be to low to stretch my EGT all the way down there. Not to mention the longer manifold will mean the gases have a lot more time to cool down. In either case though, a change in temp is a change in temp.

I'll take that into account.
Now that I think about it. I think since I got the motor mounts the knock voltage is more sensitive. So the normal engine noise as you state could be the case in my case, lol. =)
I'll try advancing it a bit more at that AFR and see how it likes it.
Vaccuum tuning is a B!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TCH.
