Boosted tC running Descendant racing turbo kit w/ built motor....
*UPDATE* the dyno has been down and just got fixed yesterday....but between the last time I posted my fix on the car I figured the whole issue with the diverter valve....the entire time I thought it was a Forge d.v. it wasnt...it was some Evolution brand...what I had to do to keep the car boosting was add quite a few washers with the spring....and I don't like rigging things to work so I just ordered a brand new Vibrant diverter valve....and it will be here today....so now finally it should be on the dyno this week and hopefully I see my whp goal....
Hell yea....lol I really would like to get the car into the 11's I would be happy with that but I bought 2 bfg drag radial 225/50r15 on wheels at the right price $180. So what I expect is at least some where in the 12's.....see where I'm at everyone has Honda's which is where I started and I still have love for them but I wanted to be different, and when all my friends see the struggle I've had with my car there answer or solution is "just sell it and build a civic" and I say *** that I wana be different. tC's could be fast too. Now its about that time I prove them all wrong.....
Still not finished.....I'm getting really frustrated....now the car boosts fine partial throttle and when its full throttle its completely different....doesn't want to boost or doesn't boost enough.....so the guy who is currently tuning the car is telling me that he has to call AEM and figure out the calibration for the drive-by-wire....I'm so tired of paying for dyno time and not getting a finished product.....I was even considering sell the car.....my last resort is to save my money and buy a full standalone ecu.....does anyone have a standalone for sale?

UPDATE!!!!! I kno its been a few months.....and in the past I had thought a few times that I figured out my problem and then the same shyt kept happening...so back to square1 for the 1,000th time. Well I'm 99.9% positive I got it now. I met a local tuner that has been very patient with my car and took my tC under his wings and figured out the issue and charged me close to NOTHING....which I'm so greatful of....almost the whole time I'm gunna say...it was the turbo...I was so in denial because it was brand new and an expensive peice of my kit I kept throwing the idea of the turbo out the window....what is wrong with the turbo is either a bent shaft which I don't think or the bearing is bad....under a hard load the shaft would shift slightly crooked enough to make the turbine wheel touch the wall of the housing and stop it from spinning....which stoped me from boosting...so a friend of mine is coming to pick up my turbo and take it apart to see which part is bad and rebuild it....1 more issue is I can't find matching part numbers from my turbo to the Precision Turbo site. Now when ever I call Descendant I never get any exact answer on what turbo I recieved and a part number for it. So Rob if you read this please post the part number to the turbo you guys supply with your kit. It would be very helpful if the owners of this kit can cross reference in the future....it would be greatly appreciated.
Nice kit brother, but these are the issues when running forced induction. One little issue can hamper the entire system. Your situation is not that bad at-least you can drive your car. My car is running the same internals but it knocks at idle and I can't figure out why.
Hopefully your tuner can rangle in the FIC if not take a trip the P-Tuning or go up to Buffalo and see Dezod.

My first tune was from Kenny and I ended up having to rebuild my motor because when I got it home I had low compression in 1 cylinder.....but the car ran great with 3 1/2 cylinders....I've tried calling him and texting but he never responded back.... I feel he went too aggressive with the tune and that's y I had the piston issue but at this point I don't care. Every tune after that hasn't been right and now that the motor is built I would really like for him to tune it again because I kno it would come out good.
I just realized that I had a PM and it was from Descendant. So I guess the kit comes with a PTE 55/62 V-Band turbo from Precision "custom for Descendant only". Which doesn't show up on any site not even Precision Turbo. So I called and they seem to kno nothing about a PTE 55/62. But as I describe the turbo and read off all the numbers from it we have came to somewhat of a conclusion that its a Entry-level 55 trim turbo. And they recomend not going more than 30psi which I was happy to hear. If you purchased ur kit around 2 years ago Precision was building the turbos with Garrett internals. Precision will NOT sell any rebuild kits. But if someone needs to redo theirs just buy a Garrett rebuild kit for $80. I'm just posting as much info as I can so if anyone runs into similar issues hopefully this helps.
