Vac source is your issue. Sounds like it's reading positive manifold pressure at idle. That is either one SMALL turbo or something is wrong with the way it's hooked up.

The FIC reads absolute pressure FYI. 14.5 PSI is 0 vacuum. Reading at 25 means it's reading 11 PSI of positive manifold pressure.

If its possitive you have some major issues!

Try flashing the firmware? sometimes that fixes glitches like that - i believe the instructions are on the aempower forum

How to:

http://forum.aempower.com/forum/inde...c,23723.0.html

The files needed for the flash are located in the directory where you installed the FIC software

sounds like the on-board map sensor is effed....sounds intresting...iv never come across this problem. like to hear more details

btw the button in the back of the fic isn't exactly a "reset" button...if you were to just press it and nothing els it does nothing unless you get the button stuck then the fic is just a paperweight...(yes iv seen it happen and had to fix it...lol)

i just got off the phone with aem, from what the guy said it sounds like a hardware issue, i tried reinstalling the program and reflashing with the same results, he also said this map sensor is used with all their boost related products, and they dont fail very much.

what really sucks in this matter is im pretty sure my 1 year warrenty was up about 2 weeks ago, if it is i gotta pay 75 bucks for the service on the fic.

their isnt too much more details, i had to bump my maps up, from 0 to 22psia for the idle. so the car runs ok now but i dont want to be driving around like this for long
