Default IAC Valve?

Where is the IAC Valve located? Is it somewhere on the intake mani, or is it really on the throttle body? I'm getting rpm surges

From what I know, I dont think we have one. I believe its all computer controlled. If your boosted, Im gonna go with it being the tune.

We do not have a IAC valve. The ecu controls idle (high or low), throttle, cruise control, rev limit (07+ only), and I believe the speed limiter for 07+ all with the electronic throttle body. This must be tune related or a small vacuum leak.

its ECU controlled, you have to go standalone (T1 development iac control with AEM EMS) to adjust it.

yeah our idle air control is on our ecu, idle control by small opening in our throttle to allow flow on idle.. there's a lot of factors that causes surging, different ems/standalone could have different fixes.. what management you are using?

I'm using the AEM FIC, but i found the problem, it was a small vac leak from the one of the RC injectors, the rubber grommet that sits on the mani/block had a rip in it causing the injector to not sit right, I sprayed the engine with brake clean
and when I got by the injector the motor cut off, so I checked it and I replaced it and now its all cherry. I thought it was a vacuum leak after I noticed my boost gauge was at only 10 on the vac side on idle, so thanks guys, problem fixed.
