I wonder if they put the crank timing plate on backwards.

The "F" should face forward if you wanna tell them.

 

its either the crank timing plate they were going to check or the crankshaft sproket one of those. yuh i was looking at the manual about it

 

marcelo....if you notice the picture on the 5th page......look at the exhaust cam....you see how the first set of lobes are facing to the left.....well....mine wasnt.....i would tell them to take your valve cover off and make sure they are.....because mine wasnt.....i didnt get to crank it today as i still have to fix an oil leak but i would deff check it.....

 

Yes the com lobes closest to the gears should be facing away from each other!

 

ah man...no wonder...my cams were on the wrong side.....i kid i kid

 

well hopefully once its fixed you'll fire right up.

so they checked everything that everyone mentioned and its good. they are sending out the engine harness to get checked to make sure its good. which i dont think its the harness. but we will see.

 

damn marcelo......we got our selves some trouble haha......ive got one more thing to do today and after that im takin it to the shop monday......im tired of this.

 

so am i man. not even a shop i have it at cant figure out whats wrong.now their trying the engine harness. but why would it be that when it was perfect before the engine was built unless they messed it up. but whatever we will see

i doubt the exact same thing is wrong with both our engine harness' lol.......i still think its a timing issue.......im doin one more thing in the morning and ill let ya know.

 

it is a timing issue.everyone i have told about this issue says its timing and i have told luiggi from olympic motorsports that it has to be that and he said it wasnt that they have checked everything on this post. so whatever.

 

haha.....well that just pushes me even more to prove its timing to prove him wrong........looks like ill be doing alot more tomorrow haha.

no sir my head stock except i think they just put in new valve guides thats about it.

 

and they are sure all the sensors work fine?

I'd have them check the cam sensor as well.

 

ive checked every sensor i could see and ones i had no clue were there
