well that also depends on which VC u can.. not ALL VC have the baffle you are talking about which i noticed as i built up a few of my heads in the past... i noticed the 07+ vc baffles were designed differently then the 05 and also the 06 vc's also have different baffleing... makes it a total of 3 different bafflings in 3 years...

im debating on eliminating the PCV in the back and blocking those also in which i would add a second breather fitting on the front of the VC for extra breating...

i really should make a thread on this subject LMAO... im such a thread jacker.. back to the OPs thread though... if u travis and yellow wana discuss this theory more... ill make a thread on it...

ptuning what are your thoughts on extra venting and removing the PCV for our cars and routing more breathers... as pictured above in the pic i posted.. is a topic i'd like more discussion on since its becomg an increasing trend when modding boosted cars (ie: honda/nissan)

actually on some of my friends turbo tc's... oil has come out of the larger tube on the valve cover.. not the one in the back.. but the one in the front that connect to the intake...

We all know what you're talking about, atleast I do, I've seen the threads where people had oil everywhere.

i just put hoses on the pcv breathers, and routed them to the ground. i know its not very eco-friendly, but i dont want oil spraying all over my engine bay. not only does it look bad, but its a fire hazard too.

^^that's what I did with my PCV on the front. Got tired of having to wipe my HKS BOV off all the time. I will get a catch can soon though.

I will have to install a highflow cat though in order to stay in the Street Class rules. Maybe upgrade to a 3inch exhaust to make up for having a cat.

front bumper looks great! Goes well with the car and your custom a-pillars as well as providing more airflow for cooling... I like everything you guys have made.

The Greddy Ultimate is already the best piggy-back out there! The AEM FIC is just out of its league with the Ultimate.
I tune and personally own an AEM EMS powered car and I won't change my EMS for anything else out there...........but............the FIC on the other hand is simply not up to par with the Ultimate.

What PTuning is going to do by eliminating the MAF on the tC involves a very simple concept that requires a lot of time and dyno tuning on a load dyno. I know how to do it but don't have the time and/or money to even try it!!!

Quick question,
how did you end up fabricating the roof, did you just slammed it there on top or used certain mounts?
Also, I'm not sure from what I can see in the pictures if its a 2-piece or 1-piece.
Just wondering.

thanks oh and by the way, NICE JOB on the car, turbo kit, etc. Very very nice work.

Thanks for the feedback Pito. The ultimate is a very advanced piggyback ecu capable of doing many things only a standalone can offer, but at the same time, it requires a bit of insight into how the ecu works and also a lot of testing and rewiiring is required to make it all happen.

The aluminum roof was a real PITA. Originally we were going to make our own frame to mount the aluminum roof onto the car, but after further inspection of how the factory roof is mounted to the car, we opted to remove the factory glass roof and used the underlying steel roof frame to mount the aluminum roof.

Since we do not have access to an english wheel or do we care to get into metal forming, the simpliest method for contouring the aluminum sheet to the factory roof frame was to cut the large aluminum sheet into the front and back halves (the factory roof is made of three separate glass sections). We then used rubber seals, nylon spacers and a lot of rivets to secure the aluminum sheet onto the roof frame. It's by no means a production looking roof, but it's perfectly fine for a race car. Our goal was to shave weight off the roof, which we accomplished.

We may still consider putting on a CF roof at a later date, but for now, time is a big factor and we cannot afford to wait around for a CF hood to be built and then shipped to us.

That's a good question actually, I'm waiting for mine which should be here by next week or so and I have been wondering how hard is it going to be to install, you know, if we need brackets or so...

Before ordering mine, we thought about doing the aluminum one, like yours. I don't really care about looks or anything, and if anything I could have ended up painting it black or something.. anyways I have no roof right now and I noticed how hard it was going to be to do it without using the original sunroof steel plates...

Thanks for your quick response.
