The auto tranny just isn't up to snuff for a kit like this.

I wanna convert but its so damn expensive. Even gettin junk parts from crashed cars, not replaced the passenger axel, aquiring wires from wrecked tcs and such also labor from a great shop, you spend about 1300-2200 in cost. and I could save that 2grand for a paint job.

Its all about what you want in the long run if you want high HP then manuals the only way to do so with the TC right now.
If you want more show than go than auto will suit you and you can still add a turbo to add a little zing to the drive. I loved and dont regret boosting my auto. Had lots of fun with it but now Im taking a new direction.

Well I have real good mechanical buddie and they can show me what I am doing, but we would need to obviously drill holes, trim some metal, install a clutch and remove the a/t tranmission and install the flywheel and the manual tranny. I just dont know how much time that would take.

bump i know, but i heard someone say that you guys ended up doing the 5x114.3 hub conversion, was it all custom work, or did you find a hub that bolted on?

They had the front hubs custom made and were running stock rear hubs last I knew. Not sure if they did the rear hubs yet or plan to.

Just got back from being at the track since 10AM, had a great day hanging out with everyone from PTuning. I guess I'll break the news, PTuning came in first place yet again for Modified FWD, even with a stock engine and only 300WHP.

And for the PTuning crew, I'm very happy to say that my pictures actually came out good. Big thanks to Toan for getting me a media pass. I loved getting to be out on the track to take photos and not have the stupid fence in every shot. Hopefully you'll be able to use something for your new sponsor, Manley. Here is just one shot I pulled off my card, everything else is being uploaded, didn't even bother editing or touching it up.
