This is my opinion on testing... I have been boosted since 5000 miles, and now have 98,000 miles on my car. I have been boosted since before the tC was even released. I can tell you that the true test of a product is on the track. Just ONE time attack practice session is equivalent to doing probably 10 autocrosses. My last motor blew at a time attack. The one before that, at the dragstrip. The one before that, an autocross... I cracked my downpipe at a time attack, not driving to work, not driving to 7-11.
My brakes, last 2 days on the track. They last probably over a year on the street. The plastic little center caps on my rims, lasted 4 years(had rims on a previous car), and in my very 1st time attack ever they melted off.
Performance parts should be tested in a performance enviornment, that is how it should be. Track time will accelerate any problem which may happen, its a great way to test a product.
If the theory of daily driving is the most rigorious way of testing a product, I would time attack my grandparents 1989 Buick Century because that car hasnt given them any problems.

see i wondered about what the testing on the track is equivalent to the beating the car around town...
it does make me feel better that the parts that you guys beat the hell out and that are performing, are gona be on a car that i only drive on the week-ends...
