ptuning....turbo kit, etc.... DYNO SHEET pg.39
Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
dude you called basically told ptuning to get a better tune lol.. What im trying to say is do some reading/classes, its seems like you are believing everything your tuner has told you without any doubt.. and you are calling every tuner who doubts your tune ignorant, what does it make you? Tuners/people with knowledge asks coz it kinda conflicts the laws of physics..
If you did some research even you could ask him questions about your tune. This is not about calling it BS, its how you defend him when even you cant support it well and just tell us to call your tuner, actually no point arguing with him.. we can believe what we want and you can trust your tune all you want.. we can leave it at that.

I talk to Tina on a daily basis, I'm not going to get into it with her about this because I know it will go nowhere. If you HONESTLY think her automatic tC makes more power with 5psi than 90% of manuals do with 8psi...well, I don't know what you should do then.
As for the clutch, you would have completely decimated the clutch in that one 1/4 mile run.
What does the state of Oregon have anything to do with anything? Is there some uber low density air there? Given the same air density and temperature (oh look, air is important in this part of the equation too) levels, your Greddy kit makes the same HP/TQ as anyone elses Greddy kit.
I just want to put things into perspective for you. Let's compare your kit to mine. You're running a much smaller turbo than me, which means less air. You're running a lower level of boost, which also means less air. You're running a stock sized exhaust, which means less air and less efficiency. I've calculated my setup to produce roughly 280whp, which is close to what I made. Now, you're trying to tell me that you're making more HP, with much less air?
I didn't really want to bring this up, but you also have a very race themed tC (gutted, RPF1s, cage, CF doors, etc), with designer fabric paneling. Why the ____, would you put D&G (or w/e it was) material throughout your entire car? It completely contradicts everything else on the entire car.

^^ make sure to add yourself to the ignorant list along with all the other ignorant people on this thread. Is there not one person man enough to call my tuner and ask?
I hope Toan calls, because with someone as popular as Toan in the scion scene, I'm sure if my tuner proves him wrong, you will all listen to Toan admitting that my numbers are real, and then apologizing to me. Sounds like he'd be the only person you guys would listen to at this point. Maybe Ptuning is all hype and you guys are cutting yourself short on your tunes, because you think that since they heavily cater to the scion scene that they are the most knowledgeable about it, when they might not be.
And I admitted to not being familiar with how he achieved those numbers, and I wouldn't be able to comprehend it in a way where I can explain it to someone else, especially if I don't know how to tune. If my car was dynoing at 240 whp with the base greddy map @ 8psi, and 255 whp @ 6 psi from a differnet tuner in oregon, then 293 whp w/ methanol @ 8psi from a another tuner, logically what comes to mind is that my tuner is the one that is producing these numbers for me with all my mods to support it. AEM's methanol injection kit is even proven to increase power and torque, by advancing timing and lowering EGT's, especially if you are running 100% meth not 50/50. I honestly believe if I didn't have the meth, I would be putting down about 260whp/315 torque rougly.

again dude its not rocket science.. trust me its not.. how bout letting your tuner post here since a lot of people involved. I've seen a lot of arguments about stuff like this same exact explanation.. so really let him post in public and explain it to everybody.. Again its not about calling the tq you made BS, its how meth can add 100tq w/ his methanol tuning secrets. Toan definitely wouldnt call i think, he could careless he could just contact his fellow tuners on the motorsports industries, if he calls its just getting himself involved on this circus like WTF are you making this much.. i must make more too lmao
And oh I can add myself 2nd to the ignorant list next to you when he makes that post lmao..

how about this - bring your car back to your tuner and tell him to dyno it in 4th gear and then the numbers will be more realistic. Your defending your tuner so hard but he did a power pull in the wrong gear. dude? come on. Go back - dyno in 4th gear and post the results. You should see your hp around 270 and your trq around that .... and yes ....at 8lbs that is a good mark (it will be around 10-20whp over average). You know that 270whp is around 310hp right? Thats fast for a small 4cyl car - we arent slamming your setup but your talking to people that have seen dozens of turbo cars and many many dozens of results. We know what is realistic and what isnt (but in your cause its just a power pull in the wrong gear). It has to be the issue if your engine is still running. I used to run methanol with my s/c back a few years ago so I know all about it.
He said the rule of thumb that he uses is five speed cars are 3rd gear pulls, 6 speed cars are 4th gear pulls. Aside from that, should I keep mentioning descendant racings kit's numbers, and if you guys question it about being a fluke and numbers are fluffed too? Maybe if my name was chris rado or toan from ptuning you guys would believe me.
