So is there a set price on the RS kit yet???

The things I like/want that are only in the RS kit is the FMIC/Radiator/ intercooler pipe routing. I love that whole idea/design.

But I do know its mainly meant for built blocks (but we do know it works on the stock block just fine as ptuning showed). And I know they are planning on making the kits upgradable, so that is also a plus. If there is too much of a price difference, I may just get the SS and get a Mishimoto radiator and a lower t-stat instead. I have so many thoughts/ideas/contemplations lol.

Also, are you going to offer any other turbo options other than the t3/04e or the 3076r in the rs kit?

I dont think they offer any other turbo than those two but if you want something else it shouldnt be a problem as long as the flanges are the same and compressor elbow is at the same position

true, I was just looking at some ball bearing turbos... i think my eyes are bigger than my wallet haha. I am going to start out with the kit the way it is, get used to it, then go from there. That sounds like the best (and cheapest) option right now lol.

Default Ptuning Turbo Kit easily clears Kaminari Reserve Cowl Hood.

As promised, we finally got around to testing the Kaminari Reverse Cowl hood on our Ptuning SS turbo kit and the hood vent clears the BOV and upper intercooler with ease--almost 2 inches of clearance.

So this is to confirmed that our Ptuning turbo kit will work with a kaminari reverse cowl hood, Seibon vented hood or any of the current CF hood on the market.

hey ptuning, how much clearance is there between the turbo/manifold and the radiator? Do you think the mishimoto radiator and mishimoto slim fan kit with shroud would fit there? I know you are including fans with the kit but I would like to have the shroud as well as it would be more efficient.

Thank you for your pre-order. We are very confident that you all will not be dissappointed with the quality, fitment, and performance of our new turbo system. We will keep everyone up-to-date on the turbo kit's progress as we near completion on all the fabricated components.

We took in account the use of aftermarket racing radiators when designing our turbo manifold. Our turbo system will allow you to use either the Mishimoto or Koyo radiator. You should have no problems mounting our provided fans with these either of these aftermarket radiators. There is a possibility that the Mishimoto fan shroud will fit too, but we cannot guarantee that at this point.

Our turbo kits will use brand name SPAL Fans. SPAL Italy holds an ISO 9001 certification on manufacturing. While we could have included Ebay-style fans that are a fraction of the cost of the SPAL Fans, we opted to stick with the more expensive higher quality units instead.

Hey Toan this is Rian. Talked to you last week (Ordered the lsd, clutch, turbo.. etc). I appreciate all your help!

One question though, when I come up to get the clutch, lsd and flywheel installed will you guys provide the other misc gears for the lsd?

No problem Rian, glad to be of help.

Your LSD installation will include the necessary install components - sized diff bearing shims, new axle output seals, main shaft nut, etc.

Just wanted to post some updates on the ptuning ss turbo kit. Here's two pictures of what the production polished stainless steel 3" downpipe on the ss turbo kit will look like. The downpipe comes with the necessary ss flex section to allow the engine to torque properly without breaking the exhaust system or manifold. The dowpipe utilizes ss v-band connections just like our exhaust system and will bolt directly to our 3" Ptuning exhaust system (either s-back or turbo-back) with no modifications. The bends and straights are perfect, and fits like a glove with zero clearance issues. The downpipe comes with 3 SS O2 bungs; one for the front factory O2, one for the rear factory O2 and a third for an aftermarket wideband O2 sensor/gauge (also comes with a O2 plug if not used).

In addition, we have decided to offer the 6061 Aluminum Intercooler piping and CAI Intake tubings in 3 color scheme:

Time Attack Red (Same textured powder coating color as our TA tc)
Stealth Black (Textured powder coating)
Super Polished (Mirror Polished aluminum)

We will post final pics of the intercooler piping in the various colors before we ship out all pre-orders so that you can make your decision then.
