Default retard timing with nitrous

im currently running a zex wet 55 shot wet kit and i would like to up it to a 75 but when i got my kit on the install manual it said if i was to run a 65 or 75 i would need to retard the timing ... is there anyone here running either a 65 or 75 and have not retard the timing and if you had any good or bad experience with it .. thanks

By using the nitrous you increase cylinder pressure alot faster than normal so in order to keep the pressure from becoming too much too quick and blowing something to pieces in your motor you retard the timing to give you a little more time. I hope that makes sense. Just follow the instructions.

ok yea i was thinking the same thing .. reason i was asking is that the shop i purchase the kit from said i would be fine with 75 shot and not having to retard the timing i've would have to check the plugs and see if they are holding
