Cam timing is dead on piston one is at tdc all notches line up and crank pully notch is at 0... you all owe me ten bucks lamo.

Since the car was running nothing electrical has changed even when the engine rebuild was done a month or so ago now. anyone else think of something?

update for everyone.....still no start...

Things I have done so far are :

Checked timing (its on)
Cam sensor ( new)
Crank sensor( new)

and then i just checked over the car and made sure everything was connected checked all fueses in the car.

The only thing left i can come to is that the coil packs are bad. Although hard for me to believe it idk.

Anyone have any ideas from here?

never thought of it like that. Is there a way for me to tell for sure if it is cause all i know timing wise is that when everything is lined up where its suppose to be its good.

Default Starting Issues on motor SOLVED!!!

well started tearing the motor apart last night around 6pm. We started with the timing cover incase the problem was there. pulled it off and started checking everything. turns out the crank timing was off 180 degrees. So we checked over everything else before putting it all back together everything was golden. Put back together and started it right up no problems. Still smoking a tad bit but i am running really rich and there is left over oil in the exhaust. Thanks for everyones input on this issue.

it was not the cam timing. It was the timing at the crank. Everything is all good now though its running like a champ besides not being tuned for low compression pistons lol.
