Top Mount Intercooler???
Yeah mine was like 500? Something like that... but I love it. The quick engagement is so much better than stock. I don't feel like I have to let the clutch out 3 ft just to get moving

Nice job motoxxx87, I posted this idea a few years ago, just never had the money to try it, if you don't mind maybe you can post a list of parts, links where you can get them and maybe prices, that would be really helpful for us who want to try it ourselves, when you have time of course, thumbs up for the custom work thou
Ok well the parts list
intercooler, heat exchanger $140
Water pump was $50
Heater Hose 3/4in $20
Cupplers were $100
That's pretty much it but I have since taken off the intercooler cuz I thought the car was running a little rich ... time to tune

The 55mm pulley is supposed to be @ 12psi
Running a w2a I/C you shouldn't see much boost loss, especially across that short of a distance. Where did you mount the heat exchanger? Using fans?
I'm on a quest to do the same thing, I am making use of the are in which the battery used to be.
The heat exchanger is mounted to the crash bar cuz the holes meet up preficted like were ppl mount there intercooler iv had a lot of ppl as if thats my intercooler cuz it looks just like one. I have one fan mounted to the back of the heatechanger and I hard wired my left radiator fan

The 65mm pulley is supposed to be @ 9psi

Wow, that heat exchanger does look like an intercooler, I didn't think it would fill that much space. What does it hold 1, 2 gallons? That's odd that you would be running rich, since denser/colder air should lean out your mix, are you sure you don't have a leak. Is it going rich at WOT after gear change, because that would be your BOV. Good idea with the fan connected to the radiator fan, I was talking with SoccerBoy about a thermal switch. Do you have the fan wired to come on when the radiator fans switch on?
It holds about 3/4 of water. it probably is my bov and leaks some were I'm still twicking on it! All fans are hard wired to a switch pulled power 12v ingestion from fuse box yellow wire
