^^^from what it sounds, the longer you run it like that the more expensive it will be to fix, low RPM or not.

I'm most likely going to have ProMotion Tuning put the supercharger pulley on since James had a Mercury Cougar with similar Vortech supercharger. He's pretty experienced with those type of systems.

I've had my supercharger for just over a year and have over 30k miles on the ODO, over 15k supercharged and still no problems.

Im not real happy with mine,
The power upgrade is ok but really gets good with the bpv and mmw header, now tommorow I am putting on NST crank and NST s/c pulleys on. If I can get that dang bolt off!!!!!!!!!! Screw it I am going to call a shop, I have no impact tools.
I also got my header coated by jet-hot with their best coat 2000.

My s/c is noisy as hell; I even went to full synthetic 10w30,
Also my car never starts on the first try ____es me off. and now I got all this crap on ther I cant just go to dealer, they still have my damn stock injectors, everytime i call they say we will call back and then they never do.

my mileage on my car is around 20000; ive had the s/c probably about 2-3000 miles. sometimes its loud and sometimes its not that loud, still works good though, on the starting I ordered the denso iridium Ik24. hope they help me. Its not all that bad; its just annoying to me.

I've been reading this thread and many others but I am a little confused...

I have little interest in the trd S/C for very far away future plans.

Approximately, what is the most hp an auto tC can achieve while STAYING under Toyota's warranty which is I think up to 60k miles.

A 25% increase doesn't look like that much of an increase for $3k+. or is it? But then that also includes the warranty...

So confusing... i'll probably just end up staying stock. It's not like I race too much (if any) anyways.

The thing that scares me is what will happen when the warranty runs out. It's very pricy to fix or replace the s/c, seeing how you have to swap the entire main essembly for any little problem with the housing.

actually not really anymore, we know most if not all the part numbers and such to get replacement parts and, in some cases, better replacement parts.

i know its not needed with the s/c, but if they had made the s/c to work with the TRD cai, i would get it. I like my cai a lot lol.

Wow, you're saying your intake is what's stopping you from going F/I.... That's a lot of love.

It's an Injen, the good thing about that one and the K&N is location of the sensor is out of the way of any cut needed to conect it to the s/c hose.

Trust me, when I had the s/c, I was looking for some bling with a CAI..... You know, a s/c looks a lot for prettier under the hood then any intake will, just my opinion
