turbotoytas simple kit+GT3071R (vid p 12, final results p 31)
that's good that you checked. With the car dying issue, the HKS is a good choice for a draw through maf sensor set-up in the way that it doesnt expell too much air, my guess is that there is too much timing pulled at the lower rpm range.
dude, i'm coasting in gear right up until the last minute, i seriously am, then when i go to move away from a stop, i get hesitation and stall sometimes. really gotta be careful when pulling out into traffic.
btw so long as ur still moving when the car shut off during this neutral thing put it in like second or third and pop the clutch out itll save ur started..and well for ur clutch its just like if u were shifting gears no ill damage so long as u have in the right gear so its night giant jerking motion

somebody else can make the dirty joke......
okay, on another note, my exhaust is sooo much quieter now, i haven't seen this many deer by the road in over a year since i had my really loud exhaust.
i did a few full throttle pulls in 2nd gear. car has hesitation at low rpms, but around 4k rpms it pulls with alittle more authority than the supercharger did since i'm running nearly the same amount of power with 8 psi. might need to step it up to 10 psi if i wanna make another 80 horsepower.
so cooling system, idle, more boost and more power...

glad you got your car back...
I agree with everyone about tuneing being the issue. Mike could prolly help you out with maybe a better base map, iv got one im sure would help out with the stalling.

yeah, i'll see if i can get pics and vids tomorrow in the day light, yeah, if you have a base map, send it to drax85@hotmail.com.
damn, guess that would be the TRD tune spoiling everything like they said it would.
what is required for a blow-thru MAF sensor set-up? is that just tuning off MAP? or should i try and find the way to reflash the ECU back to a stop fuel map?

blow thru maf is setup just the same as regular its just that the blow off is before the maf so when u blow off you maf sensor is still metering air...
on a normal setup ur maf read air..it gets sent to the turbo then compressed and sent to throttle body..when tb is close the metered air now get released through the bov so u run rich because ur ecu think u still have all this air and dumps the right amount of fuel which makes u run rich
I havnt heard of anyone able to "reflash" the ecu after it being flashed with the trd tune......I forgot about the trd flash when i sent you those maps...those maps retard quit a bit of timeing (to be on the safe side of things)....i would maybe try and run an ign map thats not taking any timeing, atleast thats what i would do but i dont really know how that will work out for ya.
in anycase if you cant reflash back to stock settings i can pick up an ecu for ya and ship it. idk what the cost is but i get a pretty good hook up at my local junk yard. Ill go out tommarow and see what the price is if you want. its worth a shot.
