turbotoytas simple kit+GT3071R (vid p 12, final results p 31)
alright, here are some high quality pictures for everybody, unfortunately the strut bar gets in the way of the fuel rail, i'll have to wait until i get the pictures from the shop to show that one off.

i have more pictures if anybody wants to see a part of the engine bay from a different angle, also uploading videos to youtube right now.

also, the exhaust is WAAAAAAAAAY quieter with that turbo than it was with a weapon-r header and the supercharger.
hey drax sorry bro but i got a call to do a turbo install, i just got back and didnt have a chance to look...i will tommarow...got a clutch install tommarow afternoon so ill look for the ecu early in the a.m.
now i'm back to the idea of fans and radiator and cooling, i'm thinking of getting a koyo radiator from dezod, and then getting some SPAL push fans so that i'll have a thicker radiator, but the fans will go between the radiator and the A/C condenser and then i won't have to worry about clearance between the fan, shroud, and turbo/downpipe. and then also having a shroud to force all the air that gets channeled through the grills through the radiator so it can't escape around it and not help cool it?
bigger concern is the cooling issue.
here is a quick check for you to tell if your fans are efficient enough, they will kick on at 204 degrees, and shut off between 194-198(can't remember exact shut-off temp). It takes about 5-10 seconds normally for a decent fan to drop the temp that fast. If you fans stay on for 15 or more seconds I would say it is a fan issue. Also make sure they are moving air in the proper direction, they can easily be wired backwards and short out if you are on the highway and turn the ac on.
The factory radiator does well, and with the hp you're at it shouldnt be an issue. There are many people running a lot of power with the stock radiator. If you plan to do track events it's possible a good idea to upgrade as it can never hurt.
Is your coolant staying full?

im not saying overheating but Carlanga and TheFantasticG have both had higher than normal water temps. Carlanga switched to a koyo rad and i think he went back to using the stock fans, that did the trick for him. TheFantasticG has the turbonetics kit and he went to a mish rad, mish shroud, one pusher fan, and one puller fan...that did it for him. Atleast they were able to bring the temps back to stock.
