only thing i can think of is 1. maybe he forgot to adjust for stock tc injectors versus trd injectors for the difference in flow, but i doubt that, and then lastly, the car does seem to idle better when it is warmed up, which makes me wonder if the enrichment cycle for warming up the car is messing it up.

I emailed him back.. waiting on response.. I gave him a couple issues that i knew of he would run into using that ecu..

And i asked to see his map! So we will see soon Im 100% sure we can figure it out!

great! hopefully next week everything with the car will get settled, and i can finally get the joy-gasm of really testing out the turbo boost. gawd, the car is such a tease sometimes! giving me a taste of the power it can put down when it gets to the mid-rpms.

oh fine, thanks for all your help! lol, jk. the BOV is already recirculated, so no point in undoing it, which is a shame, it sounded soo awesome all the time!

i did, i double checked, i had filled up the other day, there was this crazy black dude there asking me if i knew where a nearby church was cuz his wife was about to leave him or some BS and i'm like "yeah, thats tough, not from this area, gotta go!" and as i got on the road, i was like "damn, did i even close my fuel door?" anyway, annoyingly, the radiator and such didn't arrive today like i had hoped...gotta call up get the tracking numbers for them...

Causes

Usually this P0456 code is caused by an incorrect or faulty gas cap. Filling the fuel tank with the engine running could conceivable cause this code as well or if the cap wasn't properly tightened. Any of the following could also be the cause:
  • A small leak in any of the EVAP hoses or fuel tank hoses
  • A small leak in the purge valve or vent valve
  • The EVAP Canister may be leaking
Possible Solutions

First, using a scan tool activate the vent solenoid, sealing the system. Then monitor the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor. If the system is sealing properly, the number will stay consistent. If is isn't, the pressure sensor will show that as well. If the system slowly leaks, use a smoke machine and watch for smoke exiting the system at any EVAP component. Any where there is smoke exiting the system, that is the faulty component. Do not pressurize the EVAP system with air pressure. Doing so can damage the purge and vent solenoids in the system.

I can't remember, did you put down numbers on the dyno? Or did you ever get a god enough run without overheating?
