Like sapan said, Go back demand the car get all the little problems fixed or get a refund for some of the work..... Then maybe see if another shop (ptuning, maybe?) can figure thi whole mess out.
wow bro...your car stiil isnt running like it should? i wouldve been given up on the shop after them not bein able to getting it running properly..good luck with everything. i think you should take Mo's advice.
I still dont understand why they just didnt tune the ecu you already ad in your car, instead of having you buy a junked one and re wire everything. And what was the final problem for cooling issues?
the mishamoto fan shroud is 2.5 inches including the fans.
yeah, what is weird is the idling problem seems to come and go so far. maybe it is because i'm engine braking until i stop completely, but while driving around today for work and such, only stalled once, when i was creeping up to an intersection with traffic. then on the way home, didn't stall once. don't know why.
yeah, might be time to call p-tuning i suppose, set up an appointment. still debating it. i already argued out of the tuning fee and the recirculation of the BOV.
as for the cooling system, koyo radiator, mishamoto fan shroud. trimmed the core support and custom brackets to squeeze it inbetween the support and the turbo. still a tight fit, had to wrap the dump tube, and i think i'll put a turbo blanket on the turbine just to be safe.

the fic runs on two chips....the master that handles main program (if I'm not mistaken) and the slave that handles fuel as well as other things..

could be but i havnt seen his maps....
so far every single (5) tc's that have come through without the slave chip flashed to z104.hex had major issues...even aem tells you that right on their site that the tc runs best on z104.hex.
and did you know that the fic comes flashed with z107.hex....most peeps dont check. I say if its free and doesnt take up much time its worth a shot!!!!!!!!

Yea but his car is tuned on his slave ya know! So now maybe it will change the tune..
This is why i stay away from etuning because you just dont know!
that is very true point...but it doesnt change the tune...it changes how the injectors fire...so in a sense it does change the tune and in my experiance its always been for the better.

all of these i personaly flashed their fic and results were great...it responded and tune got hella better because of it. so far it hasnt done any harm in any case.

yeah, i'll call the tuner and check tomorrow. hopefully this is the final missing piece of the puzzle to get the car to run perfectly! then it is a matter of getting a boost controller and making some real power with this kit!
well, the car ran extremely well today, drove into work, took a delivery, stalled once backing into my parking space, drove home. no stalling. when it does idle, it is hard to even hear it running with the music on, i gotta double check the tach before i clutch in.
oh, and finally had a chance to drop the hammer without worrying about wet roads or slow traffic, car is pushing 7 psi. gotta up the boost 3 more psi down the road.
