Default *URGENT* I need help! Stupid seats!

the reclining lever on my seat is stuck, so when i drove home i had to support myself. i looked like an idiot. i tried my best to clear any obstruction but it still didnt help. any help would be awesome.

The only thing I can think of is to remove the seat from the car and inspect the mechanism that way. Maybe, you will get any obstruction to clear itself.

push down, press seat down, release lock, seat should go back and lock into place again.

u can also try pushing the leever down and jiggling the seat until u hear the lock kick in. release the level and that should also do it...

its happend to me.... nothing major

oh yeah, this happened to me after having my car washed. i was freaking out, but i got it right just by reclining the seat all the way back. or was it pushing it all the way back.

yeah, i was frustrated and cursing for a few minutes, but it just kinda fixed itself.

Those are both way better than my idea. Why didn't I think of that!

This has happened to me and all I did was push the seat down really hard and then try it again LOL
