Default Auto Hatch

Hola,

Has anyone gotten the hatch to go up with a button press? Like with an aftermarket key, I have a few things done that would be complimented nicely with an auto-lifting hatch...

Thank!

I wsh we could make an auto-up hatch..

..I also wish we could have the hatch open another few inches higher for those of us that are 6' plus to not knock our noggins on the latch.

...I've said quite a few curse worse because I forgot, was groggy, or was in a rush and busted my skull on that latch.

My tC is like a small pickup so I frequently am more concerned about the cargo than the vehicle.

Imagine picking up a 50 pound bag of mulch and hitting your noggin cuz you were more worried about the grip on the bag..and you end up dropping the bag anyways because you hit your noggin!

it would be cool.... the only thing though is where are you gonna put the actuator to make it rise and close without being out in the open and looking really ugly...

Why not just replace the stock lifters or one lifter with a linear actuator?
