o ____ burger king has tacos? wow i need try them. anyway my order has been delayed. took f*kn al-eds.com a week to inform me that i made a mistake on the shipping adress. Because shipping must be the verified billing. So now i have to wait even longer. and by the way CARls Jr FTMFW!!! lol

OMg yes, the thing is, it took them 7 days to email me and tell me. If i can recall, their site says they ship next business day on the pioneer? Im pretty sure they could've found out ealier if they really do ship out the next day. So i called them to fix thing, and tell them the shipping adress.. sadly they do not ship to P,O boxes because a signature is required, even though there is no chance of fraud if the item is being shipped to the billing adress which is the same PO box. Because the Post Office holds it for that recipitant. Anyway rules are rules, i just wish the employee on the phone was a little more polite and for them to contact me earlier. So i just told the guy to cancel it, and i will purchase the item with my other card. Just wished i had it by now, so i can use it when i go to hot import nights.

so do you think they'll let me ship it to my work place even though i'm using my own credit card with my home address on it? i hope they do. there is no way i'm shipping it to my house. no one is usually home and so many stuff stolen off my front porch. it's like if anything is not nailed to my porch, someone will go by and take it. like my HIDs that cost me $170. stupid thieves.

 

I'd just get it from crutchfield...700 for the unit, bluetooth adapter, ipod connection, XM tuner, harness, and mounting bracket from one of the most reliable online retailers..That's one hell of a deal.

 

its a hell of a deal if u actualyy want those things. and 7th gear, They will only ship to the verified billing adress on the card. So unfortunately no they will not ship to your work, but al-eds does require signature upon arrival, so they wont leave it on your porch.

 

yeah, i'm gonna use paypal after all. my work's address is verified on paypal. only thing is i gotta transfer the funds from my bank account over to paypal, which takes several days. that's the only downside but hey, i'll wait. i guess it makes it more fun. lol.

actually i think the different shipping address and billing address only applies to high end priced items like navigation because i ordered just the mounting bracket and harness
and shipped it to my gf's house rather then my house and it worked.

 

does anyone know where to get a good screen protector for the avic d3 for a good cheap price?

 

azureloki im sure you arent talking about al-eds.com.... because websites all have different rules.... and 7th gear, i fergot they accept paypal, if they do then thats fine. but if u pay credit with them, they will only ship to the verified adress. and i think around page 16 or sumin they talk about a good screen protector.

 

Its not 700.00 its 800.00 from Crutchfield. But either or ive been ordering from Crutchfield for over 10+ years. Best electronics website.

On another note, al-eds is ridiculous. I also had a problem with them. I ordered my d3 from them only because it was including their presidents say sale, so I saved some extra money. I placed my order and I was waiting a few days wondering why I still didn't get a tracking number. Later that day I get a email saying that my order is on hold because they cannot verify the billing address on the card I used. First of all I used my bank card. Second, they processed the payment after 2 days I placed the order. Something must be up with them, on top of it they only have 1 person that their 1 800 number. Now im still waiting for FedEx to deliver it, supposedly Saturday.

lol k there u go, previously we were talking about al-eds so if crutchfield ships to other adresses, thats cool. Anyway amp when did you place the order? They say they ship within 5 days!!!!! that does suck, and it is funny how theres only one guy at the 1 800 number LOL. seems like its all his own business. anyway plz update me on this, because he suposedly canceled my old order because of adress issues, and im not sure if i want to replace the order with another card based on what you just told me.

You know what, Thanks for saying that, i completed forgot about that site because when i checked it last week the avic d3 was sold out. I still have purchased anything from this site though, Any1 know if their service is respectable?

 

I have heard great things about cartronix, ill tell you what though i wont order from al-eds again thats for sure. ill either try cartronix or stick with crutchfield like i have for the past 10 years.

Al-eds is a joke, they need to get their ____ together. Lets just hope my d3 actually comes.
