The other thing you have to look at is the ESR of the caps. If the ESR is high then you are putting more of a strain on the charging system then the cap is actually helping. The tC's handle alot like someone said before. I have over 3000 watts in mine, yes that is RMS and not peak power. I have no light dim and can play it and not have issues at all. Here is a pic of my car and then a pic of my truck as well. The tC is the daily driver, where the truck is just for fun when I want to drive it.

Hi im new in the scionlife forum. But I compete in usaci .I would rec. getting your alt.upgraded, and I have had better luck with the kinetik power cellsthan a batcap or acap.If interested on power cell go to www. kinetikaudio.com this might help you make your mind up. LATER.
I need help... My stock stereo is hooked up to my 2 10" JBL subs with 1200wat amp. all installed by cartoys. When am sitting it sounds fine and when i start moving the bass gets a lot louder and doesnt sound too good. but if am sitting and hit the gas in park or neutral the bass doesnt change so i thought it might be a power problem but am not sure now. I need help on what is going on. Does Scion stock stereo have a road noise inside the stereo or is it the battery, alternator, not enough power or what???? Someone help....
