I'm getting this done in green this weekend. I got a quick question though, as far as I remember in optics, does the orange needle dim at all to a brownish color or any other shade because of the blue light behind it? Or does it look just as amber colored as with the stock lights?

 

I can't speak for the green, but as for the blue lights, the needles are still that orange, stock amber color.
