I talked to Chris today, he said I can expect the box at my doorstep a couple days after Christmas. So if you haven't bought your box or just did.... expect a little wait.

Just got home and had a tracking number in my inbox saying the sub will be here Monday! I might have to get sick Monday and stand out in the cold all day installing!

It's cool, don't worry about it. Honestly I wouldn't have installed it this weekend anyway so it wasn't a rush. I've waited for this sub to be released ever since I bought the car, so 2 more days isn't going to hurt.

I went to ED headquarters yesterday and picked up my SQ-10 and an amp wiring kit. The rear of my car is all tore apart now so I can wire up the amp tonight. Then, all I have to do is build the box and I will be in business. The sub itself is pretty hot looking.

You can go to http://edesignaudio.com/edv2/ednews/home/blog.php?id=48 and look at the SQ10. I belive the wiring terminals are on opposite sides of the sub.

Yeah, opposited sides as it's a single voice coil and the spider becomes unbalanced if you put both terminals on one side.

my SQ10 and NINe.2 amp just came to the house yesterday!!! i had an email yesterday that my box is in the woodshop being made. I'm excited to get it soon.
Thanks eD for your excellent customer service. I'll be getting speaker upgrades when the time comes, plus an amp to power them.

whenever somebody gets the sq10 and the box, and gets it installed, please post as soon as possible (pics would be cool too). I'm very interested in it. In about a week i'm going to put in some new front components, so i'll need a sub to keep up. Seems silly to put in good components and keep the stock crap sub.I plan on ordering some type of sub setup after christmas, and this particular one is #1 on my list at the moment. Especially if you've heard the stock bazooka sub, I want to know your opinion. I'm thinking it'll be a big difference. If this sub gets a little deeper, louder, and has better SQ then i'm in for it. I know its made for small spaces so it couldn't be made really powerful, but i'd like to think it will be better than the stock sub. Another cool thing is that it ishidden. I like a clean look to things.

thanks,
Danny

^^^ I think you'll be thoroughly surprised in the performance that the SQ10 is going to put out.... I've not heard one personally but from the other products eD has, it sounds like it'll exceed your expectations....

I am curious myself on how this sub w/box sounds. Also, is there another custom box made for this sub? Like to place it where the Stock Scion Sub would be placed.

We don't currently do glassing or any sort of injection mold to make a custom box for the side of the car unfortunately.

as long as you got the 4ohm model, you'll be good... that'll even leave room for you to add another 4ohm sub later - wire in parallel for a 2ohm load and you'll get more power from the amp...
