uh.... whatever you add as weight for looks is going to act as big, head-removing projectiles in a crash.

ask yourself: Do you want your car to sit 1/2" lower or do you want you and your g/f to have heads on their shoulders?

if you think im kidding about the lead blocks...im not.
they do similar things in nascar and many other kinds of racing.
but they usually weld them in place so they dont slide around.

im ripping out all the sound deadening so i dont have to do it later when i sell the car. lol

This thread makes my head hurt.

Toss the Hotchkis springs and buy some coilovers then you can adjust your ride to whatever height you think looks good.

Throwing weight in the hatch to make the car look good just makes you a poseur. Your application to Abercrombie and Fitch has been denied.

are you serious? why are you arguing about something that your obviously ignorant to? you think the engineers that designed the springs intended for you to have to put weights in the car to have them sit right? or do you think that somehow your car magically weighs less than every other tC that rolled off the assembly line? your car is sitting exactly how its supposed to. if the look doesn't please you then buy a set that will give you the result your looking for. throwing weight in the car to impress the little girlies will kill the fuel economy, kill the handling, kill the rear suspension, and possibly kill you if they are not tied down. that makes you a poseur.
