No, graphs don't tell you how it sounds. I have never used an EQ in my entire career. If you set up everything correctly for the car in the first place, you don't need a lot of EQ to "fix' anything. All the tweaking was done in the R&D stage.
If you were to spend countless hours over several months tweaking enclosure size, location and driver selection you would come up with a Stealthbox (although you could not call it that cause it's tradmarked). JL Audio has done all of the hard work so all you need to do is bolt it in and enjoy!

BTW, the only modification to the vehicle needed is a single hole needs to be drilled in the bottom of the spare tire well for one of the two bolts. The other bolt lines up with a factory hole. The install is completely reversable outside of that. Good news on trade-in day as I am about to find out.

Wow, that Stealthbox is actually a really unique enclosure. I'd be pretty afraid to lose 3" of floor space, but what an odd place to stick the subwoofer. Stealth is right.

The problem with an enclosure such as this is, you can't just go to a sales floor and demo it. You have to pretty much bite the bullet and buy the thing, stick it in your car, then decide how you like it.

It's officially on the website now.

Reading the install PDF, this is a REALLY clean pdf. Your car will thump and then people will look into your car and see nothing... I LOVE IT.
I have to find a retailer now... hmm. I have a feeling this is going to cost an arm and a leg.

yeah exactly plus check this.

If use of the child LATCH system is required, slight modification of the supplied flooring must be performed with installation. Jack and tools kit must be relocated after installation. Installation limits the amount the rear seats can recline.

ok so u lose pretty much everything. including 3" of space, rear reclining and still have to relocate the tools. stealthbox yeah right.

you're worrying about the LATCH system? Do you have a baby seat in the car?

i don't care about any of it. i'm running something thats not "stealth" at all. i'm just saying its something u need to be aware of. Also where do the tools go. thats what i was trying to point out.

And if i was putting a baby seat in my car what would u say? Is it wrong to have a kid and a sub?

The eD system is all around a better bang for the buck(surprise, surprise)... $55 gets you the sub, $150 gets you the stealth enclosure... it doesn't take away any funcionality of the car AT ALL.... and it'll still sound damn good!
