Default Malfunctioning rear dome light & left license plate ligh

I was wondering if anyone has an idea of what's wrong with my rear dome light and left license plate light. I've changed the bulbs a while ago and never had a problem until now.

The problem is the bulbs would not stay lit...they flash on and off randomly. I've changed it back to the original bulbs, but that didn't seem to be the problem. I really have no clue what's going on..maybe my sub knocked a wire or screw loose??

If I were to take it the dealership, would it be fixed under warranty (I didn't buy the extended warranty. I bought the car back in May and it currently has 7000 miles).

Any help would be appreciated.

hmm thats really wierd. i say try to get a hold of a multimeter and see if there is power running through there to check it. then check the connections? if not, then you could drop it at the dealer, but just be warned it is a dealer, so god knows how long it may take to diagnose this problem.

LED's? seems like they just went bad, try switch left bulb bulb to the right side and vice versa before taking it to the dealership, most likely its ur bulb.

Thanks! Going to work right now, so I'll try both ideas tonight!

yeah.. if you switched them out to leds... when they go bad.... they tend to do that.

if the connection is fine, then its probably a defective LED bulb. I'm having the same problem with one of LEDs in my dome lights.
