Hmm, maybe ill add new seats, harness bar, and some Schroth ASM harnesses to my list after all of my turbo components are done.

i'm actually liking the schroth harnesses i've seen people use.
and its only a 5 person car if you are short and anorexic...i've tried to fit in the back of my buddy's before and there's no place for a 6'4 240lb guy in the back of a tc lol

Thats true, my parents never drive in the back seats either way. Unless they are drunk and i have to go pick them up from some where lmao.
2 Man car conversion coming soon!

Can someone post some pics of how they secured the lap belt portion of the harness?
Did you just use the lower seat belt mount point and the seat bracket mount point (for the stock seat belt receptacle)?
Thanks.

Thanks. I got it installed and everything, but I do have a problem. The inside side of the lap belt (on both sides) is too long. I'm a skinny dude. I have that side pulled to its tightest setting, and it's still loose. Is there any way to cinch down some of that extra belt? The outside side of the belt fits right because the mount point is much further back than on the inside. If none of this makes sense, I can take some photos tomorrow. Thanks for the help.
So I finally got my NRG harness bar back from the powdercoaters and installed. Here's the final outcome

I will say that this had to be the most frustrating install I've had to date with the tC. This was mostly due to trying to retain the b-pillar covers and OEM seat belts and the kit not coming with the hardware to do that. I think I ended up making three or four trips to Lowes for bolts, spacers, and washers. Then trying to get all the parts to align while working in a cramped area didn't make for fun. Still I think it turned out pretty good.
Here are the parts I used: (the bolt is a Class 5, 7/16-20, 2 1/2in long)

I had to cut 1/8in off the brass spacer just so that I could get a little more thread into the bolt hole. This is how it all fits together:

Note that the OEM seat belt will fit perfectly on the 1in bushing with it being on one end and the b-pillar cover being on the other end. When it's all together you tighten the nut down to about 1/16in of slop is left on between the washers and harness bar attachment point. This gives the movement required to adjust the plate to fit the harness bar and still allows for everything to be tighten down. I used some blue loctite to keep the nut in place when tightening it into position. That way it didn't creep on me while I was tightening everything up.

Some more random photos from the install.
Location of the hole through the b-pillar cover. Drill from the plastic side though the felt not the other way around. It makes a clean cut that way.

How the OEM seat belt sits on the 1 inch steel bushing. The other end is about the same distance through the b-pillar cover.

This is what it looks like from the inside when assembled.

How the bottom of the support is connected. Yes, after I took the photo I noticed the lock nut was not engaged. I fixed that right after taking the photo.

How the top of the support rod is connected. The kit bolts for this were too short even for what was supplied. I ended up getting a 2 in bolt and cutting a 1 in spacer in half to get the proper offset from the joint. If I hadn't the washer would be riding on that joint and I personally don't like that.
