ported 10 or sealed 12?

if space is somewhat of an issue,,,,,,

ive ran many 12" subs in a .8 sealed box and it sounds very nice

Had an Fi Q in the .8 box with about 1500rms and the door panels would easily flex and I could not see out of the rear view mirror at all.

I put an Id max in a 1 cube box with the same amp (1500rms) and same result.

Right now I have 2 audiomobile mass subs in a .75-ish each and they slam

I was a ported guy for a long time till I found the right kinda subs and box mix.

If the sub is ported only then the sealed thing will not work(obviosly)

Well I just mounted the amp and am constructing the box in the next week or so. I will make sure to post pictures for you all and thanks again for the help.

O and we went with ported because of this thread. Showed him this topic and he did research so guess thats what I am building.
