Default problem with amp PLEASE help!!!

i need to power my amp from the tCs battery all the way to the amp in my trunk i have the wire and its hooked up but there is still no power. Fuses are good. I have it connected to the positive end on the battery (is it spose to be on the negative???) to the amp. The amp also has a ground wire that i have grounded but does not seem to be the problem please help if you have any idea why there is no power????????

ok, you should have a fairly large wire coming from the +terminal on your battery going to the 12v+/batt+ on the amp. there should be a wire of the same size hooked from the amp's ground to a GOOD metal to metal chassis ground. There is another terminal on your amp that is REM (remote). This will need to be a small ga. wire (1 that comes from the back of your aftermarket HU or from an ignition source. this remote wire will flip a switch inside the amp to "tell" the amp to start pulling power from the 12v+

Sounds like you don't have the remote wire hooked up, since you didn't mention that

Without a remote wire, you will get no power.
