im going to best buy to buy my speakers tommorow changing all four, not tweeters. Alpines front and rear .

^^ agreed. Components are definitely the way to go.

I bought a low quality amp when I first began with my audio system and regreted it bigtime. I ended up cutting my loses, selling it on ebay, and buying a better quality one. Don't skimp, you'll just regret it later!

leave the stockers in the rear. Just get components up front with an amp! Trust me you'll thank us later!

iight thanks, quick question, on my stock speakers when i put the volume real high, i hear hardly ne bass, why is this

 

When you turn up ur head unit, you are turning up the power it is sending the speakers. I believe you hear no bass when the volume is load, is a feature that is put into the built in amp in the HU. Doing that, it eliminates distortion at high decilbe levels. Sucks though. Get your self a 4 channel amp at about 400 watts and your speakers will scream when you turn them up!!
